Video: Sen. Ted Cruz Requests Consent to Hold Vote on House-Passed CR
As usual, Harry Reid is spinning… He loves to follow the rules when it suits him. Funny how good he is at circumventing them with they don’t work for him… Like when he (Reid) and Pelosi crammed ObamaCare down the throats of the American people!

Tea Party vs. Progressives on ObamaCare
You can blend in or blend out — the Tea Party chooses to take a stand and blend out. Leading the fray is Ted Cruz. Sarah Palin has written a kick butt article on Cruz Control. Take a moment and smell the tea:
More and more Americans are waking up to the nightmare of ObamaCare as its rollout continues.
Hardworking families are losing their employer-provided health care coverage. Businesses are cutting back their employees’ hours to skirt ObamaCare's mandates. Americans barely scrapping by are discovering that ObamaCare has made health care completely unaffordable. Those who aren’t part of a protected special interest group have been left in the cold.
When you’re living on a fixed income, having to pay hundreds of dollars more each month for health care will cut into your ability to pay for basic necessities like food, electricity, or gas (which has increased 90% under Obama). Open your eyes, America. When the full reality of ObamaCare strikes home, we’ll thank God that principled leaders like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee took a stand to stop it in its tracks.
But the permanent political class is handwringing and howling that if there’s a government shutdown the media will blame Republicans for it. Here’s a little newsflash, GOP establishment: Whenever anything bad happens, the media blames Republicans for it. That’s not an excuse to roll over and play dead. It’s a call to follow the advice I give my daughters: Woman up, stand your ground, and fight like a girl!
While Democratic Senate Minority Leader and major weasel, Harry Reid, is calling the Tea Party anarchists and telling the Republicans to sit down, shut up and take ObamaCare like good little Marxists, Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are moving forward fighting all the way and threatening a filibuster:
“The Affordable Care Act has been the law of the land for three years,” Reid said. “Democrats stand ready to work with reasonable people who want to improve it, but Republican attempts to take an entire law hostage simply to appease the Tea Party anarchists are outrageous, irresponsible and futile.”
Wait… did he just say resistance is futile? So the Dems are admitting they’re the Borg? Reid can go back to whatever alien planet or hole he calls home and stuff it.
He’s not alone though - witness the Progressive Republicans on the right who are attacking Cruz at every opportunity:
Fox News host Chris Wallace said on Sunday that top Republicans had sent him opposition research throughout the week on Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
Many top Republicans are upset that Cruz is threatening to filibuster if Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid reinserts funding for ObamaCare, after the House stripped the money from a recently passed continuing resolution bill, Wallace said.
“This has been one of the strangest weeks I’ve ever had in Washington,” Wallace said. “As soon as we listed Ted Cruz as our featured guest this week, I got unsolicited research and questions, not from Democrats but from top Republicans, to hammer Cruz.”

Palin Fires at Fox News: 'Keep It TRULY Fair & Balanced,' Name Cruz Critics
We the people are standing with Ted Cruz and Mike Lee and we will remember those who betray us on both sides of the aisle. In closing, take to heart Sarah Palin’s words:
The message only grows stronger. The grassroots is bigger than any one person. We the People will rise up, and we will make our voices heard. Right now, Ted Cruz is speaking for us in this ObamaCare fight. God bless him for it.
Hang in there, Ted and Mike. You have millions of supporters among ordinary hardworking Americans. We support you because you don’t shy away from the fray. May your colleagues in the Senate gain the wisdom to support your excellent efforts so that you can see that the view is better from inside the bus than under it.

The only ones that should be viewing the underside of the bus are the Progressive Left. Death to ObamaCare.

*The House of Representatives finally listened to the people and passed their stopgap funding bill (today) Friday to keep government open while terminating the new healthcare law, setting up a final showdown next week with Senate Democrats and President Obama who have firmly rejected that.
The 230-189 vote, which split almost exclusively along party lines, is the precursor to the big action next week, when the Senate is expected to strip out the health care provisions and send the bill back to the House — where Republicans will have to decide whether they can accept it at that point.
All sides are racing a Sept. 30 deadline, which is when current government funding runs out. The new measure would fund the government through Dec. 15, essentially at last year’s levels, and would leave the budget sequesters in place.

Washington, D.C. -- Congresswoman Michele Bachmann released the following statement after voting for a continuing resolution to defund ObamaCare and keep the government open.
“Today the House of Representatives listened to the will of the American people and voted to keep the government open while defunding ObamaCare. The President’s health care law is hurting economic growth, causing cutbacks in jobs and hours, and jacking up insurance premiums. We must save the American people from these disastrous consequences of ObamaCare while still keeping the government open. Even President Obama’s Big Labor allies are trying to exempt themselves from ObamaCare, declaring it will hurt the middle class and erase the 40-hour work week. ObamaCare is completely unworkable and deeply unpopular, and I will continue fighting until this train wreck is defunded once and for all so we can start over with free market, patient-centered health care reforms."

Please educate yourself and others and don't be fooled by the mainstream media spin that is coming. Former Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, who refused to work with the Republicans during the ObamaCare creation cycle, has already been spinning all afternoon!, actually for two days now!! The House has passed a budget bill 'with funding for everything' that our government needs to function, except ObamaCare, a program that will ultimately bankrupt us and destroy our quality of healthcare. The Administration will do everything to point the finger and push blame for shutting down our government on the Republicans (GOP). Don't be fooled, the only way the government gets shut down is if President Obama and his puppet Harry Reid cause it. The House "and the so-called bad negative Republicans" have passed a full budget bill while creating a way to open discussion on compromise and to make improvements on ObamaCare", not shutdown the government. It will be President Obama and the Democrats who chose to shut down the government, if that happens.
The goal is and always has been to force businesses to dump their employees into the ObamaCare Exchanges; ultimately creating a single payer system… Socialized Medicine! But not for the elite… Congress, Judges, the Executive Branch Employees, federal employees as a whole, friends of the elite and the Progressive system and the rich will have great healthcare, as good or better than they have or had before, but the average American They will be forced into socialized medicine run by government officials where they, and not the doctors and health professionals, make decisions on treatments and treatment qualification… while 30-Million of the poor will still not have healthcare. But you can bet that illegal aliens and their kids will.
The unions finally figured that out and began speaking up… But last week their leaders left the White House smiling after a private meeting; any guesses as to why?
ObamaCare will guarantee that there will be two classes… and ObamaCare has been written so that the government will be involved in every aspect of American life! This opportunity, that the House Republicans fought for, might be the last chance for Americans to stand-up and fight against this.
Just this week, both Home Depot and the Cleveland Clinic, that Obama has used as an example for his side, have announced that they will be dumping employees, either into the exchanges or laying people off, to prepare for the implementation of ObamaCare. So you be the judge~
And the Republicans… they do want to negotiate!!!!
Don't be played!!
52%+ of Americans polled want ObamaCare Defunded completely. 72% are not happy with ObamaCare (and the number is growing) and they want changes if the program remains law. 30-Million Americans will still be without healthcare after this expensive disaster goes into affect. And members of the Federal Government and their friends will not have ObamaCare as their healthcare system; they will retain their Cadillac plans.
If you do not want ObamaCare and you want the Democrats in the Senate to work with the House, contact your Senator (and President Obama)… Senate List Below:

Paul Ryan Reveals His Plan to Balance the Budget in 10 Years Includes Repealing Obamacare
This week, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) will release the official Republican budget plan for fiscal year 2014, a ten year plan to balance the budget. On Fox News Sunday, Ryan explained, “The reason we do a balanced budget is not to simply make the numbers add up. It leads to a healthy, growing economy that creates jobs.”
The congressman says Republicans don’t want to reopen the fight over the fiscal cliff and are also proposing pro-growth tax reform. “No more crony politics, stop picking winners and losers, pro-growth tax reform — those things are still achievable and we achieve them in this budget.”
Instead of absolute spending cuts, Ryan is proposing cuts in the rate of growth. He said his plan promotes Medicare reform which includes the repeal of Obamacare. Chris Wallace pointedly asked, “Are you saying that as a part of your budget […] you assume the repeal of Obamacare?”
“Yes,” Ryan simply answered.
“Well, that’s not going to happen,” Wallace said.
“We believe it should. That’s the point. This is what budgeting is all about,” said Ryan. He went to say that they’d replace it with patient-centered health care instead of a “rationing board” system like Obamacare.
Will Republicans in Congress and the president reach a compromise? President Obama had lunch with Republicans including Ryan on Thursday and will go to Capitol Hill next week to meet with Senate Republicans for the first time in almost three years. Ryan blamed the stalemate on President Obama, slamming his plan for raising taxes as one that aims to fuel more spending rather than reducing the deficit. “Tax reform to us is an economic growth generating exercise. Tax reform to the president so far seems to be a spending growth exercise.”
Wallace asked Ryan if he has plans on seeking House speakership or possibly the presidency. Ryan didn’t rule it out but said that until he figures out how to close the budget gap, he won’t be thinking about running for president just yet.
Despite having a positive experience as the GOP vice presidential candidate, he said, “I’ve always believed a better place for me is in policy leadership, like being a chairman. […] I shouldn’t be clouding my judgment today by thinking about some political thing four years from now.” See video HERE
Marco Rubio On Board With Paul Ryan’s Aim to Defund ObamaCare
Fox News: Florida Senator Marco Rubio reacted to the Obama administration ending White House tours and blaming it on the sequester. “This is just the beginning,” Rubio told Sean Hannity. “Every single day you’re going to see the best known national parks close down, you know, airports being targeted. They’re going to try to make this as painful as possible because they’re trying to make a political point.”
He pointed out that many families have already had to cut back on their own budgets. “I think they’d be shocked to hear a bunch of politicians bellyaching over a two to three percent across the board reduction in spending, when in the real world people have seen massive reductions in their own home budgets and in their businesses.”
