Anna and Alex Nikolayev are one step closer to regaining full custody of their infant son. As previously reported by TheBlaze, the Russian couple, currently living in Sacramento, Calif., had their baby “snatched” up by police and Child Protection Services (CPS) after they say they took the child to another hospital to get a second opinion.

On Tuesday, the couple joined Glenn Beck on TheBlaze TV to discuss their case. A court ruled Monday that the baby boy, Sammy, would be transferred to the Stanford Medical Center for further medical evaluation. The couple must follow all future reasonable medical advice and a county social worker will make regular house visits to check on the child even after he returns home.

“It was awful,” Alex Nikolayev told TheBlaze TV, recalling the traumatic incident. “It’s like we had no rights whatsoever. They just came in, assaulted us and kidnapped our child.”

The child’s mother, Anna, said she has never seen a government act in such an unreasonable manner, even back home in Germany. Her husband is from Russia.

The parents were not satisfied with the care that their child was getting at Sutter Memorial Hospital. The mother says she witnessed a nurse giving Sammy antibiotics, something a doctor had instructed her not to do. Additionally, the couple was understandably hesitant about subjecting their child to serious surgery without being absolutely sure about such a recommendation.

So the Nikolayevs took their son to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Sacramento without a proper discharge from Sutter Memorial. CPS later cited the parents for “severe neglect.”

Seeking to cover all the angles of the story, Beck asked the parents if they had any clue why CPS would accuse them of “severe” child neglect. The couple couldn’t explain why such an false accusation was made so prematurely.

“I cannot imagine, my wife or I, what we would go through, if at five months, they took my child for two weeks,” Beck said.

Anna Nikolayev said the situation was the most “horrible” thing they could have imagined happening to their family.

Discussing the case in a previous interview with Fox News, Alex Nikolayev said he received a call from his wife the day after they took Sammy to the second hospital telling him that the cops were outside and prepared to break the door down.

“I asked them if they had a warrant. Next thing you know I’m basically being pushed, dropped to the ground,” he told Fox News. He claims that officers handcuffed him and took his keys without his permission and tried to enter the house. He said he then called his wife from outside and told her to call 911.

Weinberger said he thinks authorities have been lying to cover up “completely unjustifiable” actions. He also promised that a lawsuit is “absolutely” forthcoming. The lawsuit will likely target all parties involved, including the Sacramento Police Department, DPS and Sutter Memorial Hospital.

A California couple had their five-month-old baby “snatched” by police after they took the infant to get a second opinion on a medical procedure, they claim.

Anna and Alex Nikolayev are described as loving parents who took their baby, who has a heart murmur, to Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento when he started exhibiting flu-like symptoms. The family has undergone plenty of doctor visits in the last five months for the their son’s heart, and were unsettled by the treatment he was receiving.

At one point, Anna says, a nurse came in and started giving the baby, named Sammy, medicine. When she asked what it was the nurse allegedly replied, “I don’t know.”

“I’m like, you’re working as a nurse, and you don’t even know what to give to my baby…?” Anna said in an interview with ABC’s local affiliate, News10/KXTV.

They later found out that medicine was antibiotics, which Anna claims the doctor told her Sammy shouldn’t have received.

After doctors started discussing heart surgery, the Nikolayevs decided they wanted a second opinion. They weren’t categorically opposed to the procedure, but they wanted a different doctor.

“If we got the one mistake after another, I don’t want to have my baby have surgery in the hospital where I don’t feel safe,” Anna explained.

The doctors at Sutter Memorial allegedly argued against consulting other health experts, pressuring her to stay put. Anna remained firm. She took her baby from the hospital without a proper discharge, and went straight to Kaiser Permanente Hospital.

Doctors there said the baby was safe to go home with his parents, one writing in the paperwork: “I do not have concern for the safety of the child at home with his parents.”

But while they were at the hospital, police showed up.

“They told us that Sutter was telling them so much bad stuff that they thought that this baby is dying on our arms,” Anna recalled. But when police saw the doctor’s evaluation, Anna says they said, “Okay guys, you have a good day,” and left.

But the family wasn’t at peace for long.

The next day police showed up at the Nikolayev’s home with representatives from Child Protective Services (CPS). Alex went outside to meet them, where he says he was “pushed against the building.” When he asked if he was being placed under arrest, he said they “smacked me down onto the ground [and] yelled out, ‘I think I got the keys to the house.’”

Seeing the scene outside, Anna set up a camera in front of her door.

Video shows police letting themselves in without a warrant, and taking the baby.

“I’m going to grab your baby, and don’t resist, and don’t fight me okay?” one officer can be heard telling the mother in the video.

Anna described it with tears in her eyes: “He’s like, ‘okay let your son go,’ so I had to let him go, and he grabbed my arm, so I couldn’t take Sammy. And they took Sammy, and they just walked away.”

A number of news agencies have reached out to police, the hospital, and child protective services, but none has spoken out on the issue. News10, which has worked on the story at length, says police and the hospital both referred questions to Child Protective Services, which said it can’t comment on specific cases because of privacy laws.

Anna says she was told by a CPS worker that her baby was taken because of “severe neglect.”

The couple can’t believe the rationale, saying: “We did everything…We went from one hospital to another. We just wanted to be safe, that he is in good hands.”

“It seems like parents have no rights whatsoever,” Alex said. Originally from Russia, he said the situation reminds him of a “communist regime.”

The couple’s attorney, Joe Weinberger, remarked: “It’s absolutely amazing to me how a government can reach out and snatch a child after a doctor said there’s not an issue…As we’ve seen, there is no emergency situation in this case…I can’t imagine having my baby ripped from my arms.”

He acknowledges that the couple erred in taking their baby from Sutter Memorial without a proper discharge, but it has now been roughly two weeks since the situation began. Anna says she was able to visit her baby for an hour last Thursday.

A court date has been scheduled for today, Monday April 29. TheBlaze will keep you posted as the story develops.

Psychiatry as a weapon to silence religious and political opposition

22 August 2012: Since reporting on the account of Jason Egroff, a 28 year-old Scranton, Pennsylvania web designer and Blog Talk Radio host of the weekly Revelation News Christian broadcast, I have received documentation of numerous cases where outspoken critics specific to the anti-Christian agenda of Barack Hussein Obama experienced similar encounters with “mental health professionals”.

In the event you are unfamiliar with the full account of Mr. Egroff, it is documented here. In short, Mr. Egroff was involuntarily committed to a psychiatric facility for evaluation due to his pro-Christian yet non-threatening religious views opposing those of the Obama regime. Of course, that’s not the official psychiatric diagnosis given to him, but after an extensive investigation into the events leading up to and following his evaluation, it might as well be. What was uncovered in subsequent investigations involving other “patients,” I for one am convinced that the common element in all similar cases is one’s Christian beliefs when combined with a vocal opposition to Obama agenda. I’m also convinced we’ve identified their playbook.

Further research into this tactic left me both surprised and shaken to the core. My findings have determined that the situation involving Mr. Egroff is not an isolated case, but one of a growing and effective tactic currently being used to silence the Christian “watchmen” in the U.S. The victims of these tactics are not fanatical, they do not advocate violence, and certainly do not represent any threat to themselves or others. Their common “crime” is that they believe in the Word of God, the Holy Bible, and vocally identify the transgressions of our current government as they relate to the Bible and Scripture. To the Obama regime, this has obviously become a dangerous political threat.

Obama tactics from the Communist playbook

With gratitude to the research of Mary Ann, a listener of the Hagmann & Hagmann Report and reader of this website, this author was alerted to the January 2010 edition of the Schizophrenia Bulletin authored by Robert van Voren. The abstract contains important documented evidence that reads like the mental health chapter from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security handbook, except that it details the strategies of communist Russia in the 1970′s and 1980′s. During the height of political oppression in the Soviet Union, for example, studies found that at least one-third of the political prisoners were locked up in psychiatric hospitals.

As noted by the author, “using psychiatry as a means of repression has been a particular favorite of Socialist-oriented regimes.” What are we seeing take place in the United States today? We are witnessing a sudden and widespread increase in the “thought police” and by extension, the “religion police.” In the aforementioned bulletin, the author states that “[T]he political abuse of psychiatry in the Soviet Union originated from the concept that persons who opposed the Soviet regime were mentally ill because there was no other logical explanation why one would oppose the best sociopolitical system in the world.”

It is also important to point out that the author notes that under the misuse of psychiatry by the state, the “patient” was diagnosed as having sluggish schizophrenia. He adds that “[T]he patient with paranoid symptoms retained some insight in his condition but overvalued his own importance and might exhibit grandiose ideas of reforming society. Thus, symptoms of sluggish schizophrenia could be “reform delusions,” “struggle for the truth,” and “perseverance.” So, according to the nationalized psychiatrists of the former Soviet Union, it was accepted that anyone desiring to eliminate Socialism is mentally ill, and possesses the shocking symptoms and impairments as a desire to seek political reform, learn the truth, and exhibit perseverance in the process. Sound familiar?

As one digs deeper into today’s headlines, it is evident that the socialist inclinations of the current administration, from Obama to Holder to Napolitano and across the higher levels of government, are becoming more apparent. Noted in the study is a reference to Russia that appears to apply here in the U.S.; “the deteriorating political climate seems to create an atmosphere in which local authorities feel that they can again use psychiatry as a means of intimidation.”

Reality Check: U.S. Marine Held In A Mental Hospital Against His Will Because Of Facebook

ANOTHER VETERAN RAIDED AND HIS FIREARMS CONFISCATED--MUST APPEAR BEFORE JUDGE FOR MENTAL EVALUATION

Steve, please call me at your earliest convenience. I have some breaking information regarding an Army combat veteran (and Christian) in Ohio who was just raided this evening for the same reasons Brandon Raub was arrested. There were no criminal charges, no suspicions of criminal activity charge, and he was notarrested but all of his firearms were confiscated and he has been given a notice to appear before a judge. He is a Purple Heart recipient, no criminal background, no issues with prior VA psych evals. I just got off the phone with him and would like to pass along all of the information (and there is quite a bit) so others can be made aware of what is happening.

At 18:40 EST on 22/Aug/2012, I received a call from a very close friend of mine in west central Ohio, claiming he had just had all firearms confiscated. At first I thought he was joking, as we often do, so I made some sarcastic remarks, but he continued explaining what he had gone through. I stopped him and asked if he was being serious or just pulling my leg. He assured me he was being serious. I’ll provide you with the details as best I can- he conveyed all of this information to me during our second phone conversation after I had returned home at approximately 20:30 EST.

A search warrant was executed by Miami County Ohio Sheriff’s deputies at approximately 1730 EST at the home of my friend, at the exact time he was returning home from work. The minute he got in the back door from the garage, there was a knock at the front door, and a cruiser pulled up directly behind his truck (which he could see from inside the house.) There were seven Sheriff’s deputies in total, and the warrant they produced gave them the ability to find, secure, and obtain any deadly weapons. The reason stated on the warrant was for the “safety of the defendant (my friend,) and the general public.” The order was signed by a local judge around noon on 21/Aug/2012.

My friend was able to read off parts of the warrant to me, and I transcribed them as best I could:

"…Defendant shall not possess, use, carry, or obtain any deadly weapon and shall turn over all deadly weapons in defendant’s possession to the law enforcement agency that serves this order. Any law enforcement agency is authorized to take possession of deadly weapons pursuant to this paragraph and hold them in protective custody until further court order…"

"…if defendant is in possession of deadly weapons, defendant is guilty of violating Ohio revised code 2923.13(5). Whoever violates this section is guilty of having weapons while under disability, a felony of the third degree..."

Here’s the revised code the warrant referred to:

“2923.13 Having weapons while under disability.
(5) The person is under adjudication of mental incompetence, has been adjudicated as a mental defective, has been committed to a mental institution, has been found by a court to be a mentally ill person subject to hospitalization by court order, or is an involuntary patient other than one who is a patient only for purposes of observation. As used in this division, “mentally ill person subject to hospitalization by court order” and “patient” have the same meanings as in section 5122.01 of the Revised Code.”

The deputies confiscated one .45 caliber pistol, one .380 caliber pistol, a 12 gauge shotgun, two AR-15 rifles, and a stripped AR-15 lower receiver. My friend was able to see what the deputy/detective wrote on the evidence list regarding the firearm descriptions. The shotgun was listed as a “hunting shotgun,” the pistols were listed by their caliber, and the two ARs were listed as “tactical assault rifles.” What was even more strange is the detective then listed all the accessories on the ARs, including red dot sights, laser sights, foregrips, 30 round magazines, etc. It should also be stated one of those ARs was his fiancée’s, and the deputies claimed it was shared ownership and therefore had to be confiscated. A hunting knife was also confiscated. No magazines or ammunition were confiscated.
In addition to the confiscations, the deputies attempted to question my friend and his fiancée. I didn’t get specific details on the questions asked. They refused to answer any questions without an attorney present. When my friend stated, “This is bullshit,” one of the deputy detectives remarked, “Look man, I’m just doing my job.”
The icing on the police-state-cake was a notice to appear before a judge for “an evaluation of mental competency.” The judge will decide if he has to see a state psych. Keep in mind, too, if during the time between now and the judge’s decision, another search warrant could be executed. If they find any “deadly weapons” in his house, he’ll be charged with a FELONY and arrested. Ohio revised code is extremely vague on the definition of a “deadly weapon,” maybe intentionally so. Like Brandon Raub, there were no criminal charges, no suspicions of criminal activity. Unlike Brandon Raub’s case, however, the state of Ohio won’t allow law enforcement to involuntarily commit a person unless there is an immediate need to do so, such as holding a gun to their head or another person’s head. Ohio law requires a judge to make the decision on having a person evaluated for mental illness. Of course, you’re then evaluated by a state-appointed psych, and that isn’t exactly going to play out in your favor. Had my friend lived in Virginia, he may be sitting in a metal hospital (prison) right now. Or worse.

Steve- this man is an Army combat veteran, a Purple Heart recipient, a Christian working for a Christian company, his father is a pastor and a police officer, he has no criminal record aside from a speeding ticket many years ago, and no psychiatric problems, no PTSD, etc. He’s not on any medication. He and his fiancée have three children, and their wedding is in 30 days. Heck, he even quit smoking earlier this year until this assault on his freedom happened. He is an upstanding person with strong values and a good heart. This should not be happening, and yet it is. We know why he was raided, but we don’t know why he was raided, if you know what I mean. There is no indication of anybody filing a complaint against him, and no indication of who asked for the judge’s signature or why.

My friend does have a lawyer (after shelling out $2500…Thank God he and his fiancée have good jobs and live responsibly so they could have money saved up for an emergency. Of course, that money was earmarked for prep items like food, clothing for their kids, etc.) The lawyer will be filing motions tomorrow. I told him to keep on his lawyer and to be extremely aggressive with discovery- find out how far up these orders came from, because I can assure this wasn’t a local operation. He has only lived in the county for five weeks!
When I hung up with my friend at around 21:30, I told him to be safe and that we’d be praying for him.

A former Marine who was forced into a psychiatric ward for anti-government Facebook postings has been freed from the hospital by a Virginia circuit court ruling handed down Thursday.Judge Allan Sharrett dismissed the case against Brandon Raub, 26, who had been detained by government officials in Richmond, Va., and transferred to a VA hospital in Salem, Va. The judge called the petition to continue Raub’s forced detention “so devoid of any factual allegations that it could not be reasonably expected to give rise to a case or controversy.”John W. Whitehead, president of the Rutherford Institute, the civil rights firm that defended Mr. Raub, called the verdict pleasant surprise to a “bizarre” case that seemed more in line with a police state than free America.

In fact, major government groups backed by financial corporate interests are actually streamlining the very biology-crushing technology that is to blame for an explosive rate of disease across the nation. Despite being linked to sterility, infant mortality, organ damage, depletion of micro-organisms within the biosphere (essential for the cultivation of food on our planet), mutant insects and ‘super’ weeds, the USDA has actually decided to fast-track biotechnology giant Monsanto’s approval process.

Upwards of 90 plus percent of many different crops are already genetically modified and placed on your dinner plates — a number that is not satisfactory for Monsanto, who now seeks to dominate 100% of the entire agricultural industry with its genetic manipulation.

Chemicals like BPA line the plastics used by millions worldwide, and despite being linked in hundreds of studies to cancer (particularly breast cancer), the FDA has repeatedly sided with the multi-billion dollar BPA industry, who will generate over 8 billion dollars by creating more than 4.7 million metric tons of death-linked BPA this year. This is a chemical that has peer-reviewed research has tied to diabetes, heart disease, cancer, behavioral disorders, and many other conditions.

The healthcare juggernaut that is the mainstream medical establishment also continues to pump out pharmaceutical drugs that are now known to kill more people per year than traffic-related fatalities. In 2009, it was conservatively estimated that pharmaceutical drugs trumped traffic fatalities with around 37,485 deaths nationwide. The overall death toll regarding known pharmaceutical drug deaths and medical mistakes alone, only around 10% of which are believed to accurately be reported, comes in at 783,936 per year.

On average, a pharmaceutical drug contains 70 side effects. Many contain around 525. These side effects may include death, or in the case of drugs like Prozac, suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Of course the link between Prozac and suicide was covered up for decades by the drug maker Eli Lilly & Co. In 2005 it was revealed by a Harvard-based whistle blower who released the information to the public, proving to the world that Eli Lilly lied for over 15 years and covered up studies linking Prozac use to suicide. In his own words, he said the public was being treated like ‘guinea pigs’.

The same events can be interchanged with virtually any drug company, many of which are now being forced to pay millions for false advertising and the resulting deaths that came from the use of their products.

In the realm of chemotherapy, it is now being admitted that the procedure actually kills patients more quickly and destroys the body itself.

I am not here to scare you into isolation. I am not here to sell you a solution in a bottle. This is what we are facing.

It is up to YOU to sound the alarm and restore order to the medical paradigm. We now have the opportunity to either sit idly by and allow ourselves to succumb to the healthcare juggernaut that lives within the United States or take back our health. The information surrounding the healing power of natural herbs and whole food items is bountiful, with studies finding that turmeric and ginger alone shrink tumors by anywhere from 50-81% in a number of weeks. Alternative cancer treatment centers are being targeted by the United States government and natural healers are being imprisoned for selling organic herbs from their own farms.

The time is now to reclaim our health freedom, and it requires YOUR involvement.

New Organization VaxTruth Fights Vaccine Damages

A new national organization called VaxTruth is dedicated to telling people about their rights to legally refuse vaccines for themselves and their children.

As an article by Russell L. Blaylock, M.D. posted at the alternative health website Mercola.com points out that in the early 1980s, autism presented itself in 1 of 10,000 births. By 2005, that was 1 in 250 births, and as of 2008, it was 1 in 150 births and still rising.

While the medical establishment refuses to consider it as a cause, the biggest change during this time had to do with a radical rise in vaccines being given at a very early age. It is this rise that an increasing amount of parents with autistic children hold responsible.

In fact, the problem may be considerably larger than autism. There is apparently virtual worldwide genocide going on thanks to vaccines. In the US it’s been noticed because of the startlingly high rates of autism … but commentators such as Guylaine Lanctot, M.D. have noted that vaccines may have wiped out whole populations in Africa where vaccines are provided aggressively.

While naturopaths and some others hold that vaccines’ efficacy is entirely the result of elitist propaganda, a less radical view that circulates within the alternative media accepts that vaccines are utile but that they are over-used and under-analyzed.

It is quite likely, according to this view, that a proportion of children are either sensitive to vaccines or become prone to injury because of the amount of vaccines they are receiving. Children in the US for instance are now scheduled for nearly 20 vaccines, and the number keeps rising.

It is likely that a portion of the population has an increasingly attenuated immune response because of vaccines and this makes them susceptible to conditions such as AIDS (whatever it actually is).

The pharmaceutical industry serves at the pleasure of globalists who have long made population reduction their goal. As part of their secretive goal to formally run the world, they use famine, war and vaccine injury to injure and ultimately reduce human populations.

Thanks mainly to the Internet, both the elite agenda and problems with vaccines have been uncovered and shared worldwide. As with many issues pertaining to elite neo-authoritarianism, the United States has led the way because of a cultural exceptionalism that encourages citizen activism.

VaxTruth is a good example of this sort of citizen activism. The vaccine information group has placed billboards in four states over the last year: Indiana, Texas, Colorado and California. The billboards proclaim: “No Shots, No School… NOT TRUE!!” Austin, Texas and Kansas are scheduled to receive such billboards next.

The group has received attention via articles on vaccine-education websites such as Age of Autism. It is run in part by Marcella Piper-Terry who explains on the website VaxTruth.com that she finally decided she’d “had enough of the one-sided reporting” regarding parents’ legal rights to accept or reject vaccine regimes for themselves and, especially, their children. Piper-Terry writes that she has a child injured by vaccines.

Her bio also notes that she has a master’s degree in psychology and has worked as a therapist and as a neuropsychological evaluator of children and adults. She founded VaxTruth with two others, Megan and Spencer Pond in the fall of 2011.

Piper-Terry who lives in Southwestern Indiana, acted after the Evansville Courier and Press newspaper printed a front page story telling parents their kids couldn’t go to school unless their vaccines were “up-to-date.” She asked for a retraction and was told it would not take place.

She quotes the Metro Editor as saying he would not “print anything that would cause parents to question the safety of vaccines.” Piper-Terry then decided to act on her own to inform people of their rights. “That’s how VaxTruth and the Billboard Campaign came into existence,” she explains.

VaxTruth encourages fundraisers that can generate cash to buy billboards. Most states have various kinds of exemptions that allow concerned parents to remove their children from vaccine programs if they are concerned with the ramifications.

To make the point about the importance of vaccine non-compliance, VaxTruth publishes and republishes articles about parents’ interactions with the medical community. One article recently posted to the website is a first person account by Alisha Lynn Ramsey on a “a horrible experience with a doctor” within the context of vaccine demands.

She writes that she took her son Adam in for his two year “well visit” and that during the check up, it became apparent to both the senior doctor (pediatrician) and the student doctor that she was “selectively” vaccinating. The article continues as follows:

We wait 30 minutes and the student doctor and the pediatrician finally walk in the exam room and the pediatrician doesn’t even look at me or speak to me. Instead they go to his chart and are talking back and forth and the student doctor is nodding and writing things down. That’s when the pediatrician turns to me and asks “Has he had any vaccinations at all?” I respond, “He’s had a few at birth but none since.” He turns back to the student and tells him something and he writes it down. Then the student doctor tries to take my son from my arms, and as he is reaching for him the pediatrician tells me “Your son will be receiving 14 vaccinations today, Mrs. Ramsey.”

… I instinctively pull my son back to me and tell him, “No. We do not want any vaccines.” The pediatrician goes on to tell me that everything I’ve read online about autism isn’t true. I respond, telling him that’s not why we aren’t vaccinating. He says to me, “You are going to kill your son. You don’t want to be responsible for killing this little boy, do you Mrs. Ramsey?”

Before I could respond he nods to the student doctor, who steps forward to try to take Adam out of my arms AGAIN. I pull back and am backed literally into a corner at this point and I’m shaking. The pediatrician goes on about how I am not thinking of the best interest of my child and how I’m going to kill him and that he WILL be getting the vaccines today and more every month until he is up-to-date in full.

His voice is beginning to raise by now and the look on his face stern. “This is for the best, Mrs. Ramsey so be compliant.” As he says this to me, for a 3rd time the student doctor tries to take Adam from my arms; this time a little more assertively. The student doctor looked as white as a sheet but also looked like he was doing what he HAD to do because of what his boss was telling him. He looked young enough to be wet behind the ears.

I’m standing in a corner, in a room the size of a box with these 2 men trying to take my child and vaccinate him against my will. I hold onto Adam as the student doctor is trying to take him from my arms and Adam begins to cry and cling to me. I’m shaking; I’m afraid and Adam can sense this. I put both arms around Adam and bring his head towards my bosom to protect him and I pull bravery from somewhere.

“He will NOT be vaccinated. You will NOT be putting poison in my son.” I stammered, shaking like a leaf but I held strong.

The pediatrician GLARED at me. “Well,” he says clearly irritated.” If you aren’t going to comply, then you leave me no choice. Not only will you not be allowed back at this clinic but I will be reporting you to Child Protective Services. You are endangering your child.”

I didn’t wait for him to say anything more, I pushed past them and walked out. As I’m walking down the hall as fast as possible, with Adam screaming scared to death and me shaking like mad, he hollers after me, “You’re going to be sorry for letting Google be your doctor!”

I walked faster and got out of there as fast as I could.

Why Did the Wall Street Journal Bury the Merck Fraud Story?

It was big news when court documents were unsealed revealing a whistleblower lawsuit accusing drug giant Merck of fraud and lying about the true efficacy of its mumps vaccine. Just about every media, large and small, picked it up and the world was abuzz about the hundreds of millions of dollars the lawsuit claimed Merck had defrauded from the U.S. government.

The Wall Street Journal published the story in the form of a Dow Jones news release written by Jon Kamp on June 22, 2012, and links to the story began popping up on social media like Facebook.

Then, suddenly, the link to the story no longer worked, and if anyone clicked on the link in social media, it would show up "page not found." Apparently the story had been pulled, and when search engines and Internet archives wouldn't even show it, it looked as if it had never been published on the Journal's site at all. It was erased nearly clean--except for a small stock-watcher's website, 4Traders.com, which did a good job of erasing it from its main site but didn't catch it in the cache.

The question is, why did the WSJ pull the story and try to erase as if it never existed when there were actual court documents for evidence?

Is it possible that an event that occurred on June 25¹—three days after the story broke—could have influenced the story being pulled? On that day, the Wall Street Journal’s "elite" network of CFOs from the world’s top corporations met at the WSJ². Merck is on that executive council³.

My team attempted to connect with the WSJ on this issue, but as of this time, we have not yet received an answer as to why this article was pulled.

Merck Accused of Falsifying Efficacy Studies and Lying about Effectiveness of Mumps Vaccine

Merck has actually been slapped with two class-action lawsuits over their mumps vaccine (which is part of the trivalent measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine). The first, which was initially filed in 2010, was unsealed late last month.

Two former Merck virologists, Stephen Krahling and Joan Wlochowski, claim they witnessed first-hand the improper testing and falsification of data that was done to hide the fact that the vaccine has significantly declined in effectiveness⁴.

By artificially inflating the efficacy, Merck was able to maintain its monopoly over the mumps vaccine market—and that is the main point of contention of the second class-action lawsuit, filed by Chatom Primary Care⁵.

According to Courthouse News Service⁶:

"Merck has known for a decade that its mumps vaccine is "far less effective" than it tells the government, and it falsified test results and sold millions of doses of "questionable efficacy," flooding and monopolizing the market... Chatom says in its antitrust complaint that Merck falsely claims its mumps vaccine is 95 percent effective. That claim "deterred and excluded competing manufacturers," who would enter the risky and expensive vaccine market only if they believed they could craft a better product...

Merck is the only manufacturer licensed by the FDA to sell the mumps vaccine in United States, and if it could not show that the vaccine was 95 percent effective, it risked losing its lucrative monopoly...

That's why Merck found it critically important to keep claiming such a high efficacy rate, the complaint states. And, Chatom claims, that's why Merck went to great lengths, including "manipulating its test procedures and falsifying the test results," to prop up the bogus figure, though it knew that the attenuated virus from which it created the vaccine had been altered over the years during the manufacturing process, and that the quality of the vaccine had degraded as a result."

How Merck Faked and Manipulated Vaccine Trials to Achieve Desired Results

According to these two lawsuits, Merck began a sham testing program in the late 1990's to hide the declining efficacy of the vaccine. The objective of the fraudulent trials was to "report efficacy of 95 percent or higher regardless of the vaccine's true efficacy."

According to Krahling and Wlochowski’s complaint, they were threatened with jail were they to alert the FDA to the fraud being committed. The sham testing program was initially referred to as "Protocol 007," the Chatom anti-trust claim states. Suzanne Humphries recently wrote an excellent summary for GreenMedInfo.com⁷, explaining in layman's terms how the tests were manipulated⁸.

“For the new testing method, the children’s blood was tested for its ability to neutralize the virus using the vaccine strain virus, instead of the wild type strain that is much more infective, and the one that your children would most likely catch... But still it was not 95% effective. In order to make the blood pass the test, antibodies from rabbits was added. The addition of rabbit antibody increased the efficacy to 100%. But that was not the end, because the test has to be done on pre-vaccine blood and post-vaccine blood.

Just the addition of rabbit antibody made the pre-vaccine blood go from 10% positive to 80% positive and that was such an obvious sign of foul play that yet another manipulation had to be made.

The desired end result is to have very low pre-vaccine antibody and 95% or more post-vaccine efficacy as measured by antibody neutralization. So, yet one more change in procedure was made: The pre-vaccine tests were all redone... According to the Merck scientists, they did this by fabricating the "plaque" counts on the pre-vaccine blood samples, counting plaques that were not there. What this allowed was a mathematical dilution of the pre-vaccine positive blood counts.”

This is a perfect example of how medical research can be manipulated to achieve desired results, and why it may be wise to question vaccine makers’ study results. Clearly, there needs to be a truly independent review in the mix... As reported by the Courthouse News Service⁹:

“Chatom claims that the falsification of test results occurred" with the knowledge, authority and approval of Merck's senior management."

While I do not advocate indiscriminately abstaining from all vaccines, I strongly encourage you to exercise a major dose of due diligence as vaccines can cause serious reactions that can have devastating consequences. I believe in informed consent and the freedom to choose. There can be little doubt anymore that drug companies are in it for the profits, and virtually no price seems too high for them when it comes to protecting their profit-making.

When Words and Deeds Don’t Match, which is Closer to the Truth?

Forbes quoted a Merck spokesman saying¹⁰:

"Nothing is more important to Merck than the safety and effectiveness of our vaccines and medicines and the people who use them.".

Really?

Then WHY did they heavily promote Vioxx and keep it on the market until it had killed more than 60,000 people? I warned my readers that this pain killer might be a real killer for some people, five years before Merck made its $30 billion recall! Five years they let it go, and they undoubtedly would have kept it on the market longer had the lethal dangers not become so shockingly obvious to other scientists.

After Vioxx came the HPV vaccine Gardasil—perhaps the most unnecessary vaccine ever created, and likely one of the most dangerous to boot. Merck claims their main concern is safety, yet ever since Gardasil's approval in 2006, reports of life-altering side effects and sudden deaths of otherwise healthy teenagers have stacked up into the thousands, and Merck has steadfastly refused to acknowledge or address these health risks.

Gardasil appears to have one of the highest risk to benefit ratios of any vaccine on the market, and India even halted Merck's post-licensing trials of the vaccine after four young participants died, yet Merck has the gall to claim that nothing is more important to them than safety. Give me a break... Actions speak louder than words, and Merck has a long paper trail of litigation highlighting the company's questionable ethics.

More Censored News: MMR Vaccine Caused Autism, Italian Court Rules

These two lawsuits couldn't come at a more precarious time for Merck, as the Italian Health Ministry recently conceded the MMR vaccine caused autism in a now nine-year old boy. As a result, a court in Rimini, Italy has awarded the family a 15-year annuity totaling 174,000 Euros (just under $220,000), plus reimbursement for court costs, ruling that the boy "has been damaged by irreversible complications due to vaccination (prophylaxis trivalent MMR)."

According to The Daily Mail, a British paper¹¹:

"Judge Lucio Ardigo, awarding compensation to the family... said it was 'conclusively established' that Valentino had suffered from an 'autistic disorder associated with medium cognitive delay' and his illness, as Dr Barboni stated, was linked to receiving the jab. Lawyer Mr Ventaloro explained yesterday: 'This is very significant for Britain which uses, and has used, an MMR vaccine with the same components as the one given to Valentino.

'It is wrong for governments and their health authorities to exert strong pressure on parents to take children for the MMR jab while ignoring that this vaccine can cause autism and linked conditions.'

Claudio Simion, a leading member of the lobby group Association for Freedom of Choice in Vaccination (Comilva), adds: 'The Rimini judgment is vitally important for children everywhere. The numbers with autism are growing. It is a terrible thing that the authorities turn a blind eye to the connection between the MMR vaccination and this illness.'"

This vaccine-news story was not picked up by a single US media outlet when it happened! Why? Could it be because the US government, which is brimming with paid-off industry shills, is hellbent on protecting the vaccination program? Not because it's a marvelous panacea that promotes optimal health and longevity and can be defended with raw facts and first-class science, but because it's a major profit center, both for the vaccine makers and for those whose pockets are lined with Big Pharma bribes.

U.S. Varicella Vaccination Program Also Found to be a Total Flop

In related news, a recent review of the varicella (chickenpox) vaccination program in the US concluded that the vaccine efficacy had declined well below 80 percent by of 2002. Furthermore, the varicella vaccine has:

• Not proven to be cost-effective
• Increased the incidence of shingles
• Failed to provide long-term protection from the disease it targets―chicken pox―and
• Is less effective than the natural immunity that existed in the general population before the vaccine

The damning news was published in May in the journal Vaccine¹², and lends additional support to the idea that the vaccine program is based on financial interests, not health, as serious side effects are routinely ignored and ineffective and/or harmful products continue to be used.

The information was gathered from a review of chicken pox and shingles statistics in the years since the vaccine was introduced. The researchers point out that although statistics showed shingles rates increased after the vaccine, "CDC authorities still claimed" that no increase had occurred. The authors also state that the CDC not only ignored the natural boost in immunity to the community that occurred with wild chickenpox, as opposed to the vaccine, but also ignored the "rare serious events following varicella vaccination" as well as the increasing rates of shingles among adults:

"In the prelicensure era, 95% of adults experienced natural chickenpox (usually as children)—these cases were usually benign and resulted in long-term immunity. Varicella vaccination is less effective than the natural immunity that existed in prevaccine communities. Universal varicella vaccination has not proven to be cost-effective as increased herpes zoster [shingles] morbidity has disproportionately offset cost savings associated with reductions in varicella disease. Universal varicella vaccination has failed to provide long-term protection from VZV disease."

Get Informed Before You Vaccinate Yourself or Your Family

Stories such as these underscore the importance to take control of your own health, and that of your children. It's simply not wise to blindly depend on the information coming directly from the vaccine makers' PR departments, or from federal health officials and agencies that are mired in conflicts of interest with industry...

No matter what vaccination choices you make for yourself or your family, there is a basic human right to be fully informed about all risks of medical interventions and pharmaceutical products, like vaccines, and have the freedom to refuse if you conclude the benefits do not outweigh the risks for you or your child.

Unfortunately, the business partnership between government health agencies and vaccine manufacturers is too close and is getting out of hand. There is a lot of discrimination against Americans, who want to be free to exercise their human right to informed consent when it comes to making voluntary decisions about which vaccines they and their children use.

We cannot allow that to continue.

It's vitally important to know and exercise your legal rights and to understand your options when it comes to using vaccines and prescription drugs. For example, your doctor is legally obligated to provide you with the CDC Vaccine Information Statement (VIS) sheet and discuss the potential symptoms of side effects of the
vaccination(s) you or your child receive BEFORE vaccination takes place. If someone giving a vaccine does not do this, it is a violation of federal law. Furthermore, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 also requires doctors and other vaccine providers to:

• Keep a permanent record of all vaccines given and the manufacturer's name and lot number
• Write down serious health problems, hospitalizations, injuries and deaths that occur after vaccination in the patient's permanent medical record
• File an official report of all serious health problems, hospitalizations, injuries and deaths following vaccination to the federal Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS)

If a vaccine provider fails to inform, record or report, it is a violation of federal law. It's important to get all the facts before making your decision about vaccination; and to understand that you have the legal right to opt out of using a vaccine that you do not want you or your child to receive. At present, all 50 states allow a medical exemption to vaccination (medical exemptions must be approved by an M.D. or D.O.); 48 states allow a religious exemption to vaccination; and 18 states allow a personal, philosophical or conscientious belief exemption to vaccination.

However, vaccine exemptions are under attack in a number of states, and it's in everyone's best interest to protect the right to make informed, voluntary vaccination decisions.

What You Can Do to Make a Difference

While it seems "old-fashioned," the only truly effective actions you can take to protect the right to informed consent to vaccination and expand your rights under the law to make voluntary vaccine choices, is to get personally involved with your state legislators and the leaders in your community.

THINK GLOBALLY, ACT LOCALLY.

Mass vaccination policies are made at the federal level but vaccine laws are made at the state level, and it is at the state level where your action to protect your vaccine choice rights will have the greatest impact.

Find a Doctor Who will Listen to Your Concerns

Last but not least, if your pediatrician or doctor refuses to provide medical care to you or your child unless you agree to get vaccines you don't want, I strongly encourage you to have the courage to find another doctor. Harassment, intimidation, and refusal of medical care is becoming the modus operandi of the medical establishment in an effort to punish those patients and parents, who become truly educated about health and vaccination and want to make vaccine choices instead of being forced to follow risky one-size-fits-all vaccine policies.

If you are treated with disrespect or are harassed in any way by a doctor (or government official), do not engage in an unproductive argument. You may want to contact an attorney, your elected state representatives or local media, if you or your child are threatened.

That said, there is hope.

At least 15 percent of young doctors recently polled admit that they're starting to adopt a more individualized approach to vaccinations in direct response to the vaccine safety concerns of parents. It is good news that there is a growing number of smart young doctors, who prefer to work as partners with parents in making personalized vaccine decisions for children, including delaying vaccinations or giving children fewer vaccines on the same day or continuing to provide medical care for those families, who decline use of one or more vaccines.

So take the time to locate and connect with a doctor who treats you with compassion and respect and is willing to work with you to do what is right for your child, and isn't just competing for government incentives designed to increase vaccination rates at any cost.

U.S. Government & Whistleblowers Sue Merck About Falsely Certified Mumps Vaccine

Whistleblowers shine light on shady Big Pharma behavior.

This story has a long timeline. It starts with the mumps vaccine that Merck’s eminent vaccinologist Maurice Hilleman, MD, came up with using a strain he developed from his five year old daughter—commonly referred to as the “Jeryl Lynn” strain—that has been manufactured by Merck since 1967.

In essence what transpired is the vaccine virus was “passaged” over the years through various growth medium or animal cells that caused the vaccine to lose its potency—let’s say ‘watered down’—and it became non-effective against the “wild” mumps virus. However, Merck had contended its MMRII vaccine was 95 percent effective (efficiency or efficacy rate) since at least the year 2000. The compliant charges Merck listed that false information on the vaccine package inserts which the U.S. CDC, FDA, and the National Vaccine Program relied upon as accurate information to promote to health agencies. That was not scientifically accurate nor was Merck able to produce that 95 percent effectiveness rate according to the accepted practices the CDC and FDA relied upon for vaccines to be certified. However, Merck never ‘fessed up that it was selling bum dope information and defective MMRII vaccines.

What happened next is what in accounting parlance is called “cooking the books.” Let’s say Merck apparently ‘cooked the science’. Still, two MDs who worked on the project were conscience struck about all the shenanigans that Merck scientists came up with in trying to reach the 95 percent efficacy rate that allowed Merck to maintain its MMRII vaccine monopoly in the United States.

However, other Merck vaccines contained the ‘watered down’ mumps vaccine. They included the quadravalent vaccine ProQuad, and the trivalent MMRVaxpro Merck sold to European markets. In 2005 the FDA recalled Merck’s ProQuad.

The ‘science’ that Merck managers came up with was to use animal (rabbit) antibodies that increased the efficacy rate to 100 percent. That sent up red flags since pre-vaccine and post-vaccine blood tests had to be taken. That’s when the normal 10 percent positive in pre-vaccine blood test results shot to 80 percent positive, a ‘perfect storm’ event indicating mischievous manipulation of scientific protocols, plus something that would not occur naturally. That led to more falsification that two whistleblowers presented to Merck officials who, in turn, told them they would be jailed if they reported to the FDA what was going on. Also, the whistleblowers were reminded of the huge bonuses that would be paid to them when the FDA approved Merck’s paperwork for certification.

Long story short, FDA finally was able to sort out the mess with the help of the whistleblowers who became plaintiffs along with the United States of America ex rel., in the original complaint [Civil Action No.10-4374, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania] filed August 27, 2010.

What I would like to concentrate on are the annotations I made while reading the amended complaint because I think they will hit a few home runs for vaccine safety advocates.

According to both the original and amended [filed April 27, 2012] complaints, a jury trial is requested. Treble damages are requested since the U.S. government estimates it paid Merck more than $700 Million for the MMRII vaccine administered to children in the USA. Based upon those figures, damages alone would amount to about $2.25 Billion. Then penalties for each violation have to be added on, plus the court awarding all legal costs the two former Merck employee whistleblowers incurred filling the lawsuit, in addition to certain interest amounts the court will allow.

All that does absolutely nothing to help the millions of infants and children who also had a fraud perpetrated upon them and from which they have suffered losses either as adverse events and/or contraction of mumps—all while believing they were protected—the intent for such vaccinations. Since Merck apparently produced pseudo science with resulting vaccine package inserts to match, the CDC, FDA, federal, state and local health agencies, MDs, pediatricians, nurses and the media believed such poppycock or pseudo science.

This whistleblower court case exonerates vaccine safety advocates of any conspiracy theories regarding the safety and efficacy of vaccines, I do believe. Furthermore, who is to say the Merck mumps vaccine ‘sleight of science’ is an anomaly. More whistleblowers need to come forth because this writer feels the Merck mumps vaccine fraud just may be the tip of the every-growing-science-manipulated, fraud iceberg. There probably is more to that than meets the scientific eye, and FDA needs to get on the stick about not relying upon vaccine makers to do the science.

One question that pops up regarding mumps outbreaks that could not be figured out seemingly parallels what’s happening with pertussis (whooping cough) and measles outbreaks that are being blamed on non-vaccinated children. I respectfully suggest that CDC and FDA do some housecleaning on vaccine-manufacturers’ science by having independent laboratories confirm efficacy rates.

Something that I think needs pointing out is the CDC and FDA must ask each vaccine maker pointed questions about all vaccine efficacy rates since Merck may not be the only manufacturer to use the rabbit antibodies trick, a genuine scientific fraud.

Part of the 55-page amended complaint deals with Merck’s false representation through package inserts which, after reading the shenanigans that went on—and probably go on to prove a product—no vaccine package insert should be regarded as factual, in my opinion.

Scientists apparently are not beyond painting white mice black or black mice white to prove what’s needed to be proven to get a pharmaceutical to market.

The original 95 percent efficacy rate for Merck’s mumps vaccine was based upon the 1967 filing for governmental approval. Can you imagine that? And they call vaccine safety advocates liars!

All the above leads one to ask if there is anything else Merck falsifies about vaccines.

Do other pharmaceutical makers also falsify or fudge the ‘science’ they supply to CDC,
FDA, and print on package inserts?

One thing I think that needs to be pointed out is the revolving door policy that apparently exists between federal government health agencies and Big Pharma. Julie Gerberding, MD, MPH, was the Director of the CDC during the 2006 mumps outbreak. Wasn’t she attributed with saying, “We have absolutely no information to suggest that there is any problem with the vaccine”? Again, this remark apparently reflects the CDC’s implicit reliance upon Big Pharma to produce the ‘science’, which definitely is a conflict of interest that FDA and Congress must fix. Oh by the way, Dr Gerberding is now President of Merck’s vaccine division.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs pointed out that Emory University is conducting a clinical trial attempting to find the cause or explain the 2006 mumps outbreak in college-age students who received both doses of the vaccine. Please get this part: Merck is a collaborator on that study! In view of the whistleblowers’ lawsuit about the mumps vaccine, wouldn’t one think that Merck would not be wanted in the investigation?

Here is a statistic for vaccine safety advocates taken from the complaint:

Nearly 5,000 cases of mumps were confirmed during the 2009 outbreak.

So one can readily see that these outbreaks should not be blamed upon non-vaccinated children, since the very vaccinated children may be those contracting the diseases for which they were vaccinated. If anything, this lawsuit against Merck proves more in the vaccine safety advocates’ corner and puts vaccine makers’ pseudo science on the ropes, I’d say.

One interesting factoid I found in the complaint is how the 1986 vaccine law probably came about. Merck and the CDC were haggling about certain aspects of disclosing diminished efficacy and Merck made some suggestions in 1970 that CDC agreed to. It basically was this:

“It provided a way to assure that the CDC could purchase Merck’s vaccines without Merck being subjected to personal injury claims for failing to warn individual vaccinees or their parents about the safety and efficacy of vaccines administered through government vaccination programs.” [Complaint pg.32, clause 106]

As this writer interprets the above, the 1986 vaccine law Congress passed should be repealed as it represents the utmost of conflict of interest, special privilege, and a denial of tort rights to damaged individuals.

Perhaps members of Congress ought to read the current complaint filed against Merck, do an about face and retract/rescind The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) of 1986 (42 U.S.C. §§ 300)—the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. Such Congressional action would provide relief for infants and children damaged not only by Merck’s mumps-containing MMRII vaccine, but also for other vaccines that probably are fudged scientifically and by which Big Pharma makes jillions without being held responsible for damaging innocent children. Who will file a lawsuit for them?

Why didn’t the media and press report the 2010 complaint filed against Merck’s fraudulent mumps vaccine? Doesn’t a defective vaccine apparently impact public health according to the CDC and FDA belief system? Why wasn’t the public told of such vaccine fraud? Could such non-reporting of an apparent public health problem generated by an apparent fraudulent and defective vaccine be considered a conspiracy of silence on the part of the media, the press, and whoever is their muse? Isn’t it about time the U.S. healthcare consumer found out that it apparently cannot trust the CDC or FDA or Big Pharma when it comes to vaccines and vaccinations, the ‘Sacred Cow’ of modern medicine?
